Choya Umeshu Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Habikino City, Osaka Prefecture; President: Shigehiro Kondoh, hereafter “Choya”) will sell a limited-time umeshu cocktail cream soda called “Kanjuku Ume Rich” at its umeshu cocktail specialty bar, The CHOYA Ginza BAR, from Thursday, June 18, 2026, through Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

The “Kanjuku Ume Rich” umeshu cocktail cream soda uses an original ripe-ume syrup made from individually pitted ripe Nanko plums whose fruity-scented flesh is used, blended with 100% Kishu Nanko ume liqueur and mango juice as the base. The drink is filled generously with fruit ice made from the ripe-ume syrup, then topped with soda. On top is a yogurt espuma made with ripe ume, and a single piece of ripe-ume compote carefully simmered with syrup. A slice of orange is placed as a lid, then vanilla ice cream drizzled with ripe-ume syrup is added, and the drink is accompanied by an ume monaka (plum wafer).

This umeshu cocktail offers a rich summer flavor that allows you to enjoy the peach-like fruity and floral aroma of ripe ume and a pronounced acidity.

The new cocktail is available in both an alcoholic version (intoxicating) and a non-alcoholic version (non-intoxicating). In addition, it can be enjoyed as the selectable dessert in the “Plum-Focused Afternoon Tea & High Tea” course — which includes plum-themed food, appetizers and sweets paired with umeshu, a tasting flight of 3–5 kinds of umeshu, popular umeshu cocktails and non-alcoholic umeshu cocktails — where more than 100 drinks are available with an all-you-can-drink plan for 2 hours and 30 minutes (last order 30 minutes before the end). Hot drinks such as coffee and tea are also included in the all-you-can-drink offer, so guests can relax in a mature-casual space. Please feel free to stop by for a late lunch with friends or family, a relaxing café break, or a shopping rest stop.
