Chocolate Design Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Masahiro Otsuki, Head Office: Yokohama City), which operates the Yokohama-based craft chocolate specialty store VANILLABEANS, will launch a new product, 'Palitro Silky Sweet,' and hold a Mother's Day campaign starting Friday, May 1, 2026.

'Palitro Silky Sweet' is the second installment of 'VANILLABEANS PREMIUM,' recommended as a 'de-stressing' sweet to unwind the strained minds of women who are constantly on edge. This is based on a survey by Chocolate Design Co., Ltd.* which found that 'over 70% of working women are preliminary candidates for 'Superwoman Syndrome,' unable to voice their weaknesses and playing ideal roles.'

For this campaign, we propose expressing gratitude, now understood more deeply by women in their 20s-40s who are currently 'preliminary candidates for 'Superwoman Syndrome',' to mothers who were 'Superwoman Syndrome' in an era without terms like housework sharing or時短 (time-saving). Through 'Palitro Silky Sweet,' we will run a 'thank you' message submission campaign leading up to Mother's Day.

In conjunction, a follow & repost campaign will be held on our official X account, where 10 winners will be chosen by lottery to receive the newly released 'Palitro Silky Sweet.' With the new 'Palitro Silky Sweet,' we aim to deliver a melty moment to mothers who still tend to overwork themselves.

*For detailed survey results on 'Superwoman Syndrome,' please see our press release issued on Tuesday, February 3rd.

Product Introduction

'VANILLABEANS PREMIUM' Second Edition
'Palitro Silky Sweet'

The concept is 'A rich, melting experience. ~A 1780-hour story, a 2-second melt-in-your-mouth.~'

This is a refined version of 'Palitro,' one of VANILLABEANS' signatures, finished with an even finer melt-in-your-mouth texture.

The crisp texture of the coating chocolate, the smoothness of the raw chocolate, and the moistness of the gateau chocolat. These three distinct layers overlap without overpowering each other, pursuing a 'melt-in-your-mouth unity' that blends into a single chocolate. To add a special touch to its appearance, white patterns are applied to the surface, and gold dust is added for elegance.

Please enjoy the taste unique to the premium line, which harmoniously blends the wild strength and splendor of cacao with sophistication, distinguishing it from regular Palitro.

Commitment to Manufacturing and Ingredients

The time spent creating 'Palitro Silky' is over 1780 hours. To achieve a luxurious melt that lasts just '2 seconds' the moment it enters your mouth, every aspect of the ingredients and process is meticulously finished without any compromise.

[Chocolate]
Uses Arriba cacao beans from Ecuador, characterized by their floral aroma. It is said that their cacao production accounts for only about 2% of the world's total, and many chocolatiers rate them as 'Grand Cru (highest quality).'
High-quality cacao is made into milk chocolate, and Ecuador Odoleta vanilla beans are used for flavoring.

[Butter Cream]
Butter cream is used for the raw chocolate. The butter is carefully whipped and smoothly combined with chocolate. Its melt is lighter than traditional ganache, like 'silk.' It overlaps with the gateau chocolat and coating chocolate in the mouth, offering a luxurious sense of unity.
