About RADIO GROOVE

"RADIO GROOVE" is a student-focused program broadcast live every Monday through Thursday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on FM NORTH WAVE. It functions as a music club activity within the radio, conveying the joy of music, and delivers trending music and the latest information among students. This October marks the program's 10th anniversary.

This initiative will deliver learning and discovery useful for exploring students' real interests and daily lives, in collaboration with FM NORTH WAVE's radio program "RADIO GROOVE," while staying close to the Hokkaido region.

The start of this segment has been realized through the convergence of CHINTAI's "Close to Your Life" philosophy, FM NORTH WAVE's regional broadcasting power, and the strong support "Radiguru" garners from students.

MC Profile

Jun Kato (Radio DJ) Born July 2, 1985, from Hakodate City, Hokkaido; raised in Asahikawa City. After moving to Tokyo to pursue a career as a DJ, gained experience at radio stations in Shonan and Shizuoka, then returned to Hokkaido to appear on FM NORTH WAVE, the station that inspired his DJ aspirations.

Has experience studying abroad in Toronto, Canada, and is currently active in a wide range of fields, including MCing for e-sports, programming competitions for students, and financial seminars for students. He is affectionately known as "Bucho (Club President) Jun" by the program's student listeners.
