Chiba Corgi's First Original Song & Dance Video Completed!

The Chiba Kogyo Bank, Ltd. (President: Hitoshi Umeda) announced today the release of its original song "Chiba Corgi no Uta" and its accompanying dance video, featuring the bank's image character "Chiba Corgi," on the bank's official YouTube channel.

Tomoko Sasaki, a musician from Chiba Prefecture known for her work on numerous corporate commercials and game music, as well as popular children's works, was appointed to produce the song. RIO, an instructor at NAYUTAS voice and dance schools in Minami-Nagareyama and Iidabashi, who has appeared in major corporate commercials and music videos (MVs) and has a background as a backup dancer for many artists, was appointed to choreograph the dance.

The song features a rhythmic and cheerful sound that expresses the adorable world of the Chiba Corgi character, with a catchy melody that makes you want to hum along. The dance is fun and makes everyone want to dance. In particular, the lyrics incorporate the bank's purpose of "a thousand happinesses" and the cosmos and light blue wallet, which are characteristics of Chiba Corgi. This song is designed to help people happily remember the name of the bank's image character, "Chiba Corgi," along with the new original song.

A talented dancer who began dancing in childhood and has extensive experience in stage performance. She has been selected for numerous major corporate commercials, artist MVs, and as a backup dancer. She currently teaches a wide range of students, from children to aspiring professionals, at NAYUTAS voice and dance schools in Minami-Nagareyama, Iidabashi, and other locations.

4. About Our Image Character "Chiba Corgi"

"Chiba Corgi" was created through a design and name contest widely open to bank employees, staff, and their families, with the winning entry chosen by internal vote, in anticipation of the bank's 70th anniversary in March 2022.

Its name is derived from the bank's nickname "Chiba Kogyo Gin" (often shortened to "Chiba Kōgin") and the dog breed "Corgi."
