Chiba Jets: Jumbo-kun Completes Season-High 13 'Excursions' (Away Games), Achieving a Record-Breaking Total Travel Distance of '10,000km'!

Chiba Jets' official mascot character, "Jumbo-kun," undertook a season-high 13 excursions (away games and regional tours) during the 2025-26 B.LEAGUE season, achieving a record-breaking total travel distance of 11,546km.

This project aims not only to cheer at the arena on game days but also for the mascot itself to directly experience the local customs and cultures of various regions, widely disseminating their charm and contributing to regional revitalization.

Jumbo-kun acts as an advocate (elephant) himself, conveying the appeal of local areas through his own experiences. The goal is to foster affection for the visited regions among our supporters and create opportunities for them to actually visit these places. Furthermore, we have continued our activities with the hope that not only fans and boosters but also local residents of the visited areas will be delighted, serving as a bridge for inter-regional exchange through sports, basketball, and mascots.

Moving forward, Jumbo-kun will continue to work with communities to bring smiles and energy not only to Chiba Jets supporters but also to people across Japan, while actively promoting the wonderful attractions of Japan.

Since two seasons ago, we have increased our excursion efforts, cooperating with various teams and local communities. We have visited numerous places, including Nagasaki Stadium City, Mt. Inasa, Fruit Bus Stops, Megane Bridge (Nagasaki), Lake Biwa, Hachiman-bori (Shiga), Awashima Marine Park (Shizuoka), Hiroshima Peace Memorial Dome, Orizuru Tower, MAZDA Zoom-Zoom Stadium Hiroshima, Edion Peace Wing Hiroshima (Hiroshima), Sapporo Clock Tower, Sapporo Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill, Moerenuma Park (Hokkaido), and various local restaurants.
