Certified NPO Charity Santa (Headquarters: Tokyo, Representative Director: Natsuki Kiyosuke) is implementing the project "Share Cinema 2026 Spring" (Viewing Period: March 18, 2026 - May 10, 2026) to deliver movie theater viewing experiences to children from families facing economic hardship. To provide children with memorable experiences during their long breaks, we are gifting movie tickets to approximately 5,000 children and parents.
Additionally, during the viewing period for families, this initiative is being introduced on the in-theater digital signage (electronic bulletin boards) at 98 AEON CINEMA theaters across 36 prefectures nationwide, which are cooperating theaters. This initiative aims to inform visitors who come to the theaters from spring break through Golden Week about this activity and the social issues behind it, and it is the first time Share Cinema has undertaken such an effort.

■What is Share Cinema?
"Share Cinema" is a project that delivers movie theater viewing experiences to children who are unable to create memories during long breaks due to economic reasons. While continuing to support families in need, this project was officially launched in the spring of 2025 after a test run in the summer of 2024, prompted by numerous voices from parents stating that they "cannot take their children anywhere during long breaks" or "have no memories to write about in their picture diaries.".
By providing digital gift movie tickets purchased with funds from donations, etc., to families, it enables them to enjoy movies at "their favorite movie theater, their favorite film, at their preferred time.".
