About Tour de Kyushu

"Tour de Kyushu" is a UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) sanctioned cycle road race decided by the Kyushu Region Strategy Conference, composed of top economic organizations and prefectural governors in Kyushu, as an event symbolizing the sustainable inheritance of the Rugby World Cup legacy, the promotion of cycle tourism in Kyushu, and the recovery from natural disasters that have struck Kyushu in recent years. "Tour de Kyushu" will be held as Class 1 of the UCI Continental Circuits Asia Tour, allowing only strong domestic and international teams registered with UCI to participate.
