"Urban Cycle Parks Hiroshima Grand Opening Fes" to be held on Saturday, April 18; Konoha Tsukamoto appointed as facility ambassador

The Hiroshima Keirin Velodrome redevelopment project, carried out by Chari Loto Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Yosuke Ishihara) and Hiroshima City, has completed all construction. All facilities will open for public use on March 29, 2026, with the grand opening to be held on Saturday, April 18.

To commemorate this, an opening event, "Urban Cycle Parks Hiroshima Grand Opening Fes," will be held as follows, allowing the citizens of Hiroshima to experience the charm of this facility.

We are also pleased to announce that Konoha Tsukamoto (from Horipro), a talent from Hiroshima City, has been appointed as the ambassador for this facility.

Furthermore, we are also announcing that the nickname for "Urban Cycle Parks Hiroshima" will be "Abasa," in the hope that it will become familiar to many people.

Main Park

・ Opening Ceremony

To celebrate the grand opening of "Urban Cycle Parks Hiroshima," a new landmark in the Ujina area, an opening ceremony will be held.

・ Bank Area

In addition to mock keirin races by athletes from the Japan Keirin Players Association Hiroshima Branch, stage events for all ages will be held, including shows by "Kamen Rider" and "Pretty Cure."

・ Stand Building Area

In the stand building, a stage program with performances and talk events will be held. Specifically, events such as a talk show by ambassador Konoha Tsukamoto are planned.

・ Hotel Building Area

In the hotel building area, a live painting session will be held by nature artist Emi. As a unique project for this facility where sports, culture, and art intersect, it is a program where visitors can experience the new cultural charm of the facility while being exposed to creative expressions.

West Park

In the West Park, an area will be developed where you can enjoy a variety of gourmet food and content, including a "Bread and Baked Goods Marche" featuring popular Hiroshima bakeries, food trucks, and a booth from the Japan Keirin Players Association Hiroshima Branch.

Urban Cycle Sports Park

At the Urban Cycle Sports Park, there will be urban sports experiences such as BMX, performance shows, and a kick bike tournament for children.

In addition to watching powerful performances by top performers up close, there are also hands-on programs available for beginners to participate in.
