All areas of 'Urban Cycle Parks Hiroshima,' a complex fusing Keirin and urban cycle sports, are complete! Grand opening on Saturday, April 18, 2026!

As part of the Hiroshima Keirin Velodrome redevelopment project being carried out by Chari Loto Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Yosuke Ishihara) and the City of Hiroshima, a new area, the "Urban Cycle Sports Park," where visitors can enjoy urban sports such as BMX, skateboarding, and kick biking, will be completed and opened on Sunday, March 29, 2026.

This marks the completion of all redevelopment work at the Hiroshima Velodrome. We are pleased to announce that the facility will be reborn as "Urban Cycle Parks Hiroshima," a hub for creating local vitality and a new sports culture for not only keirin fans but also children, families, and young people, with its grand opening on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

■ Facility Overview

The park consists of the newly opened Urban Cycle Sports Park, the lush green West Park, and the Main Park, which includes a grandstand for enjoying keirin races and a cyclist-friendly hotel.

■ Facility Features

This facility has two main features.

The first is that it is "a lush, green facility open to everyone." We have revamped the closed image of conventional velodromes by incorporating a lot of greenery on the premises and providing multiple entrances, creating a park-like space where anyone can feel free to stop by.

The second is "sustainable operation that is considerate of the global environment." We are promoting energy conservation by introducing LED lighting and going cashless.

Furthermore, through the use of natural turf, conservation of existing trees, and reuse of materials, we aim for sustainable facility management with a reduced environmental impact.

The Urban Cycle Sports Park is an area where everyone can enjoy urban cycle sports such as BMX, skateboarding, and kickbikes.

Based on the concept of "REAL, FUN, AGGRESSIVE" – where there is reality and fun, and these make the players serious – we aim to be a facility that creates a virtuous cycle of "enjoying," "getting serious," and "improving" for all users.

At this facility, under the design and operational supervision of "ARK LEAGUE," which runs world-class urban sports competitions, top athletes such as BMX flatland rider Yohei Uchino and skateboarder Sora Shirai have also participated from the planning and design stages,...
