Interior of "ALL TOYOTA CIRCULAR STORE".

The newly opened "ALL TOYOTA CIRCULAR STORE" at this airport was born as a place to connect the materials, technologies, history, and sentiments cultivated in the manufacturing sites of the Toyota Group, with the theme of "Connecting Materials," "Inheriting Value," and "Passing on to the Future." Under the concept of "Mottainai to Motto Ii e" (Turning 'what a waste' into 'even better'), materials that would normally be discarded in the automotive manufacturing process are given new life by artisans, regenerating them into unique products.

Furthermore, the store offers a diverse range of products that combine environmental consideration with design, such as high-quality bags and miscellaneous goods, and LAND CRUISER OFFICIAL ITEMS, utilizing the unique technologies of an automotive manufacturer and upcycled materials. Items that highlight the functionality and texture of the materials as new attractions, such as incorporating parts of the seatbelt buckle as accessories, are also available, with their smooth texture and dirt-resistant properties making everyday use more comfortable.

Additionally, the pen cases, characterized by their soft touch and elegant appearance, feature marks and traces from the manufacturing process incorporated directly into the design, with each piece holding a special meaning. They are finished to become cherished "one-of-a-kind" items that fit comfortably in hand with use and last for a long time.

The commitment to craftsmanship is also evident in the store's displays and staff uniforms. The shelves where products are displayed are upcycled from containers that were once used to transport automotive parts. The industrial texture serves as an accent to the space, creating an atmosphere that allows visitors to deeply experience the brand's worldview.

Containers previously used to transport parts are also reused as display shelves.

The aprons worn by the staff also use automotive-derived materials, with the durable and flexible airbag fabric as the base and seatbelts utilized as fasteners. They combine functionality and design. The entire store is designed to be a space where visitors can experience the appeal of sustainable manufacturing.

Comment from the Store

We have opened our first shop with the theme of "circularity" as the Toyota Group at Centrair, the gateway to the skies of the Chubu region connecting Japan and the world. We aim to communicate our value of circular manufacturing both domestically and internationally, and to expand new possibilities for a sustainable society through our stores and products. This store opening is driven by this aspiration. Furthermore, through this store, the world's first official upcycled goods shop of the Toyota Group, with major international sports events scheduled for September this year, we hope to contribute to the excitement of the events and the region.
