The 21st Centrair Photo Contest Has Started Accepting Entries!

Central Japan International Airport Co., Ltd. (Location: Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, Representative: Hirofumi Kagohashi), in co-sponsorship with Ikaros Publications (Location: Kanda-Jimbocho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Akihiro Yamate), which publishes the aviation specialty magazine "Monthly Airline," will hold the "21st Centrair Photo Contest."

The Centrair Photo Contest is a historic competition that has been held since 2006, the year after Central Japan International Airport Centrair opened in 2005. Last year, 2025, marked its 20th anniversary, and in recent years, the number of entries has grown to approximately 1,000, supported by many aviation fans.

Three of Japan's leading aviation photographers, Hisami Ito, Luke Ozawa, and Charlie Furusho, will serve as judges, evaluating works with the professional eye of those who have long captured aircraft with their cameras.

Winning entries will be published in "Monthly Airline" magazine and featured in calendars produced by Centrair, reaching a wide audience.

Entries are being accepted from Thursday, April 30, 2026, to Monday, August 24, 2026, for works that capture the charm of Centrair and the excitement of air travel. We encourage everyone to participate!

■Recruitment Theme: "Aspiration for airports and aviation" and "The wonder of air travel"

We are looking for photos taken at Centrair or its surroundings that express "Aspiration for airports and aviation" or "The wonder of air travel," and meet one of the following two conditions:

Some of the winning entries will be published in the calendar produced by Centrair each year (please note that not all winning entries will be published).

【Work Conditions】
① Must feature aircraft taking off or landing at Centrair.
② Must feature distinctive subjects identifiable as Centrair.
*Limited to photos taken from January 2023 until a time that allows for submission by the deadline. Please be sure to write the "shooting date" on the application form. We may confirm this when submitting data after notification of winning.
