Tokoname City Enacts 'Ordinance for a City Soaring into the Future with Chubu Centrair International Airport' - First Project Held! - Toki Air Parent-Child Job Experience Tour -

At Chubu Centrair International Airport (located in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture), on Thursday, March 26, 2026, the first commemorative project of the 'Ordinance for a City Soaring into the Future with Chubu Centrair International Airport,' enacted by Tokoname City, was held: the 'Toki Air Parent-Child Job Experience Tour.' With the cooperation of Toki Air Inc., parent-child pairs from Tokoname City learned about the mechanisms of airplanes and jobs in the aviation industry. The 'Ordinance for a City Soaring into the Future with Chubu Centrair International Airport' was enacted on February 17, 2026, the opening anniversary of Centrair. Tokoname City, as a city with an international airport and Centrair's local home, aims to deepen citizens' affection and understanding of the airport through learning and exchange related to the airport, and to become a city that soars into the future together with the airport. Ordinance for a City Soaring into the Future with Centrair ## 'Toki Air Job Experience Tour' Highlights of the Day On the day of the event, 9 parent-child pairs (18 people) residing in Tokoname City, selected by lottery, gathered at Centrair. They diligently learned about the mechanisms of airplanes and aviation jobs from Toki Air staff through classroom sessions and on-site tours. ## In the classroom session, Toki Air staff explained the mechanisms of airplanes and various sky-related jobs, including ground handling. During the lecture, participants also experienced attaching actual baggage tags to their own belongings, allowing parents and children to gain a close-up understanding of the work of airline staff.
