Cellid Selected for Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Growth Acceleration Program

Cellid, Inc. The company will use this opportunity to accelerate technical development and the establishment of mass production systems for the commercialization of its AR glasses.

Cellid is internationally recognized for its proprietary waveguide technology (lenses for AR glasses) and spatial recognition engines, which enable lightweight, high-performance AR glasses. The company has received accolades such as the "Display Component of the Year" at SID Display Week, the most prestigious international conference in the display industry. Following its selection for "SusHi Tech Global" in February 2026, the company's technical capabilities and commitment to social implementation have now led to its selection for this growth acceleration program.

Accelerating Social Implementation and Commercialization of AR Glasses

Cellid develops waveguide technology and the "Cellid SLAM" spatial recognition engine to realize lightweight, high-performance AR glasses. While glass materials have traditionally been the mainstream for waveguides, Cellid has achieved practical application using plastic materials, enabling the development of lighter and more comfortable AR glasses. The company is also conducting verification tests for practical use, such as remote work support in Shibuya Ward and shopping experience trials in convenience stores.

On February 16, 2026, Cellid was selected as one of the companies for the second cohort of "SusHi Tech Global," promoted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. From among those selected companies, Cellid has now been chosen for the "Growth Acceleration Program (Phase 1)."
