Skin Regeneration Therapy Using One's Own Cells as Medical Treatment
― Regenerative Medicine for Skin ―
Regenerative medicine aims to restore lost functions and tissues in the body using cells. Within this field, regenerative medicine for skin is a cosmetic therapy that involves culturing one's own dermal fibroblasts and transplanting them into areas of the skin where cell count has decreased. Dermal fibroblasts produce collagen, hyaluronic acid, and elastin, which maintain skin elasticity and moisture. By transplanting and increasing dermal fibroblasts, which decrease with age, symptoms such as wrinkles and sagging can be improved. Furthermore, as this treatment aims to "restore the state where cells originally existed" by supplementing one's own cells, the effects are natural. Additionally, by linking with our "cell storage" service, where dermal fibroblasts are cryopreserved and thawed for use at the desired time of transplantation, one can store their current dermal fibroblasts for future use and undergo regular transplantation.
Medical institutions are required to establish advanced systems for cell processing, quality control, and legal compliance to provide regenerative medicine safely and continuously. In this partnership, Cellbank Inc., as a manufacturer of specified cell-processed products, will be responsible for cell processing, quality control, and supply, supporting the creation of an environment where medical institutions can focus on treatment. We will continue to promote the proper dissemination of regenerative medicine and contribute to the improvement of patients' QOL through collaboration with our partner medical institutions.
