Head Office Achieves WELLTM Gold Certification for the First Time

Cosmo Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Shigeru Yamada, hereinafter "the Company") has obtained the WELLTM Certification Gold rating for its Kyobashi Head Office under the international WELL Building Standard, a globally recognized wellness certification system. The Company also participated in the awards ceremony held at the "WELL 2026 Tokyo Summit" in Tokyo Midtown. This marks the Company's first-ever WELL Certification.

WELL Certification is an international standard administered by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) that evaluates the extent to which buildings and office spaces support human health, comfort, and well-being. Assessments are conducted across multiple aspects, including "Air," "Water," "Light," "Thermal Comfort," "Mind," and "Community."

The Company relocated its headquarters in July 2025※1, establishing a workplace environment centered on the concept of "an enjoyable, exciting, and Cosmo-branded office for the future." This initiative has been highly recognized, leading to the achievement of Gold certification.

Specifically, the Company has enhanced fundamental environmental qualities such as air, water, and lighting, while designing thermal environments and workspaces that accommodate individual preferences and work styles. Additionally, by introducing flexible work arrangements that are not tied to fixed desks, the Company has created an environment where each employee can actively choose their preferred workspace. Furthermore, by incorporating relaxation zones and layouts that encourage communication, the Company aims to foster natural cross-departmental interactions and spark new ideas.
