As the meaning of design expands daily, we continue our activities to disseminate the power of creative design widely to local communities, businesses, and the general public, not just designers, and to convey regional initiatives related to creative design.
Among these, the continuous publication of the "Design White Paper" is our primary goal, and this year, we aim to realize the dream of "Design White Paper 2026."
Reflecting on the First Term
Our organization was established on April 1, 2025, and officially began its activities on October 1, 2025. Today, April 1, 2026, we have successfully entered our second term.
In the first term, we were invited to various lectures and seminars, where we had many opportunities to convey our passionate thoughts and ideas about design and creativity, aiming to "transform creative endeavors into societal power."
We also had opportunities to give lectures at universities such as Tokyo University of Science, Joshibi University of Art and Design, and Toyama University, creating opportunities for many students and young people to realize the potential of creative design.
What We Will Achieve This Year
This year, through our connection with Ritsumeikan University's College of Design and Arts, which was established in fiscal year 2026, the three Co-Founders, Tamaru, Machida, and Yamakoshi, will be teaching the "Global Design Theory" course offered in the spring semester.
Furthermore, we will begin full-scale preparations for the realization of "Design White Paper 2026" from April.
The General Incorporated Association Creative Design Network will continue to take on challenges in fiscal year 2026 to further deepen our understanding of creative design activities nationwide and worldwide, disseminate our initiatives, and form a network of creative design practitioners.
