The B2B platform "cdmo.jp," which organizes and compares information on domestic and international CDMOs, has officially commenced operations, targeting pharmaceutical companies and bio-ventures involved in drug discovery and CMC development. As new modalities like biopharmaceuticals and regenerative medicine evolve, the number of CDMOs worldwide has increased, leading to challenges in understanding the overall landscape and comparing potential contractors. To address these issues, CDMO industry experts will organize information and provide selection support. cdmo.jp aims to be a platform that helps companies determine "what is optimal for them" by considering technology, development stages, manufacturing systems, and service areas, rather than just a directory for finding companies. The platform prioritizes identifying possibilities with domestic CDMOs first, leveraging Japan's manufacturing, quality control, and operational strengths to support the growth of Japan-originated pharmaceuticals and technologies.
