【Mother's Day Special Project】'Woman type' Distributes Coloring Books to Nurseries in Shinagawa Ward, an Area with Many Dual-Income Households, to Support Working Mothers

Career Design Center Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Hiromi Tada), which operates 'Woman type,' a job change site for women who want to work long-term as full-time employees, will distribute coloring books with supportive messages for working mothers to nurseries in Shinagawa Ward in conjunction with Mother's Day 2026.

■ A moment for busy mothers to pause and think about 'their own future.'

Shinagawa Ward is an area in Tokyo where many dual-income mothers live. Mothers who lead hectic lives balancing work, housework, and childcare tend to put off thinking about themselves. We planned this project because we wanted to convey our heartfelt 'thank you for your hard work' to such mothers. We hope that the time children spend enjoying the coloring book, and the moment mothers receive it, will become a 'relaxing time' for the mothers themselves.

■ About the coloring book with supportive messages for working mothers

The front side is designed for children to enjoy coloring and write 'words of gratitude' to their mothers. The back side contains messages of appreciation for mothers' daily efforts, along with hints for cherishing themselves and contemplating their future careers. We hope it will be an opportunity for them to relax and positively re-evaluate their future.
