In this large-scale and complex project to overhaul the warehouse management system (WMS), which has been individually optimized over more than 20 years to meet customer needs, CCT provided hands-on support, acting as "a presence standing beside employees," by verbalizing on-site knowledge and coordinating stakeholders. The visualization and adoption of these efforts have significantly accelerated the speed of problem-solving.

■Background

As an integrated logistics company with over 100 years of history, Senko provides a wide range of logistics services, including trunk transportation, joint delivery, and 3PL, supporting the supply chains of various industries. On the other hand, the warehouse management system (WMS), which has been developed and operated in-house according to customer requests, is over 20 years old. Due to the accumulation of individual customizations, development and maintenance costs have increased, and it has become incompatible with the current technological environment, making an overhaul an urgent necessity.

To solve these issues and achieve business standardization, a large-scale DX project was launched. However, due to the wide range of stakeholders and domains involved, it became difficult to grasp progress and identify issues.

We have been involved in DX project support that emphasizes on-site understanding, primarily in the manufacturing and construction industries. In this project, we applied our expertise in project promotion to the logistics domain and participated hands-on as a PMO within the project.
