Original Color," a soft vinyl reproduction of "Kinnikuman" from the popular manga series "Kinnikuman," on the CCJAPAN direct sales site from 6:00 PM on Wednesday, April 29th to Friday, May 29th.

This figure brings to life the charming Choujin (superhumans) from the nationally popular hero manga "Kinnikuman," which is still being serialized, based on the production concept of "What if Choujin really existed?"

"CCPJAPAN Muscular Collection (CMC)" is CCPJAPAN's proud high-end figure series, which sculpts figures by incorporating muscle groups that would develop from different skeletal structures and special techniques depending on their origin and race.

The long-awaited, completely new sculpt, "CMC Kinnikuman Battle Suit Fighting Pose Ver.," is now available!

The goal was a new frontier where "original work" and "realism" merge.

We have sculpted the protagonist, "Kinnikuman," based on the illustration on the cover of Volume 38 of the original comic, with arrangements added according to the CMC series concept.

This work is manufactured by STUDIO24, led by Hiroomi Inasaka, who originated from CCP and is involved in the current CMC series, inheriting the CMC spirit!

Starting with this work, the "CCPAJAPN x STUDIO24" strongest tag team plans to continue developing the new CMC series!

【Kinnikuman Production Concept】

The concept of this work is a new CMC where "original work" and "realism" merge.

The CMC series originally started with the production concept of "What if Choujin really existed?" It has developed uniquely based on the interpretation of sculpting figures by imagining realistic skeletal structures and muscles that would differ depending on their origin and race.

In this work, we returned to the origin and started production by re-examining "What is CMC?" We re-researched the realistic human physique and muscles and reviewed the sculpting balance.

However, "Kinnikuman" is ultimately a fantasy world.

The charm of the work lies in the worldview created by the attractive character designs and settings drawn by the author, Yudetamago-sensei.

Therefore, while firmly keeping in mind the original concept balance of "What if Choujin really existed?", we aimed to complete a sculpt that fuses "original work" and "realism" even more than previous works.

We have achieved a three-dimensional representation that far surpasses previous CMC sculpts, with the highest number of sculpting supervisions and revisions ever.

【Commitment to Sculpting】

The most important point in sculpting was the "face," which can be called the life of the sculpt.

Based on the illustration of Kinnikuman on the cover of Volume 38 of the original comic, which was the inspiration for this sculpt, we thoroughly researched how Kinnikuman was depicted in various panels of different volumes.

We repeated revisions and confirmations more than any other part of the body to complete it, resulting in the highest quality face sculpt in the series' history.

For the body, we re-researched the physiques and muscle structures of various professional wrestlers and bodybuilders, and while keeping in mind "What kind of body structure does Kinnikuman have?", we created it by combining each element in a well-balanced manner.

Even in the fine details, such as the blood vessels appearing on the pumped-up body and the single筋 (muscle fiber) on the back of the hand, we repeatedly confirmed and revised the sculpt without compromise.

The skeletal structure and posture look natural when crouching, inspired by the illustration.

Abdominal muscles sculpted with a deliberate imbalance so that they are not symmetrical like a real human body.

Latissimus dorsi and trapezius muscle groups with well-developed hitting muscles, which are important in martial arts.

The lower body feels powerful enough to firmly support and move the massive upper body.

【Commitment to Coloring】

For coloring, we also went through several prototypes, similar to sculpting, to decide on the current coloring.

Starting from the raw body output from 3D data, we repeatedly prototyped with soft vinyl molding, going through more than three rounds of prototyping and revisions, and the ideal Kinnikuman was completed at STUDIO24's workshop, which is responsible for mass production.

High-quality coloring completed through repeated prototyping.
