Author / Editorial Committee Member, Asahi Shimbun. Born in 1963 in Shibuya, Tokyo. Joined Asahi Shimbun in 1987. Worked at Kawasaki Bureau, Culture Department, AERA Editorial Department, and New York Bureau before moving to Kyushu. On the newspaper, he has written columns such as 'Taji Sou Ron,' 'Yoshida Junko and Kotaro Kondo's Music Ramblings,' and 'Trying Hunting with Aloha.'
