Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (CCC) and its subsidiary, Tsutaya Taiwan, have officially opened 'TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Songyan Store' on May 16, 2026. The store is situated within the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park (SCCP), a premier cultural hub in Taipei that attracts over 11 million visitors annually and was once a historic tobacco factory.

### A New Challenge as a Hub Connecting Cultures

Located adjacent to the Taipei Dome in the heart of the city, the SCCP is a renovated historical site that has become a center for youth and creators. In this vibrant area, Tsutaya Taiwan aims to create more than just a bookstore; it is a space for encountering art, participating in events, and fostering co-creation through dialogue.

### Connecting Taiwan's Talent to the World

Marking its 14th year in Taiwan, Tsutaya Taiwan has identified a need to provide platforms for local talent to reach broader markets. The Songyan store is positioned as an experimental base to implement this vision. By collaborating with CCC's network of approximately 700 stores in Japan, the store will serve as a gateway for Taiwanese culture, products, and talent to enter the Japanese and global markets.

Despite being a city-owned facility, the project was realized through a shared vision of promoting Taiwanese culture abroad, marking a significant milestone for a Japanese-affiliated company in Taipei.
