(Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa; Representative Director and President & CEO: Takashi Honori; hereinafter "CCC"), which is responsible for the management and operation of the lifelong learning complex facility "Kadoma City Culture Creation Library KADOMADO" (hereinafter "KADOMADO"), a unified library and cultural hall, opened on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. KADOMADO aims to be a "window to the city" that nurtures new learning and interaction, with the concept of "A Place to Nurture Region and People," where people of different generations and interests naturally come together.

KADOMADO is a multi-purpose facility designed to promote citizens' cultural and learning activities centered around the library, as well as regional revitalization. Based on the concept of "A Place to Nurture Region and People," this facility will be open 359 days a year (*) from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The five-story facility (including the rooftop terrace) includes a library at its core, a relaxing cafe, challenge shops where local brands and businesses can open temporary stores, cultural hall rental rooms that serve as a hub for community activities, a tech lab where visitors can experience the latest STEAM education, and a craft lab where they can enjoy hands-on manufacturing experiences with local companies. KADOMADO aims to be a place where new learning can be gained while experiencing Kadoma City's culture, serving as a base for regional community activities and a "place where the new future of Kadoma City can be seen."

(1) A library whose atmosphere changes on each floor, and Starbucks where you can spend your time as you please

The library, with its spacious feel and a distinctive atrium, houses approximately 200,000 books spread across each floor by genre. On the 1st floor, at Starbucks, you can immerse yourself in reading with a coffee or enjoy conversations with family and friends. It is a space where knowledge and relaxation naturally intertwine, allowing you to spend "a slightly special time" in your daily life.

(2) A cultural hall equipped with various functions

As a cultural hall where local residents are the main actors, it is equipped with multiple functions. The "Open Kitchen," which connects local food and people, plans to host cooking workshops and food education events. At the "Atelier," where children and adults can freely engage in creative activities, they can experience the joy of making things through painting, crafts, design, and more. Two "Multi-purpose Rooms" are available for a wide range of uses, such as citizen activities and regional meetings, fostering exchange and discussion. Additionally, the "Small Hall" will be utilized as a hub for disseminating local culture, hosting lectures, screenings, workshops, and mini-concerts.

In addition, POPUP spaces will be developed where local brands, creators, and businesses can open temporary stores. We will continuously plan and implement new projects as a "city showcase" where new encounters and discoveries are born.

(3) Latest technology education that expands children's future

The "Tech Lab" is a learning space where children can experience new learning by interacting with the latest technology equipment, naturally expressing their "likes" and "interests." It aims to be a safe place where children can discover, deepen, and share their own interests and passions.

(4) Kids' floor that nurtures children's creativity

On the 4th floor kids' floor, the iconic "Picture Book Mountain" welcomes children. This "Picture Book Mountain," which doubles as a bookshelf and a chair, is a special reading space for children. Behind the "Picture Book Mountain" is a secret room, offering children an exciting reading experience in a quiet space.

Furthermore, in the "Craft Lab," where children can immerse themselves in making things, they can experience hands-on crafts using various materials such as wood, cloth, and paper, in collaboration with local companies. In addition, there is a "Mogumogu Space" (eating space) where baby food can be brought in, and a "Kids' Terrace" where children can play and move their bodies.

(5) Study spaces that support students and adults

It is equipped with study spaces where individuals can concentrate on studying, reading, and self-improvement in quiet surroundings. For those who want to focus more intensively on work or online meetings, private booths are also available. In addition to private booths where one can spend time without worrying about others, there are also group booths for small groups. (*) Both study spaces and booths require advance reservations.
