Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Karim Dragan; hereinafter, "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has been selected as No. 1 in the food products category of the industry-specific ranking in the 2026 edition of "BEST100 Companies Where Women Shine," announced by the information magazine "Nikkei Woman" (published by Nikkei BP) and the Nikkei Inc. Group's "Nikkei Womanomics Project." This marks the third consecutive year, since 2024, that the Company has been selected as No. 1 in the food products category. The overall general ranking was 73rd.

"BEST100 Companies Where Women Shine" is compiled based on the results of the "Corporate Women's Empowerment Survey," and this year marks its 24th edition. From two perspectives, "job satisfaction" and "ease of work," the actual conditions for female employees to thrive are measured and scored using four indicators: "managerial promotion rate," "women's empowerment promotion rate," "work-life balance rate," and "talent diversity rate." The total scores are then converted into deviation values to create a comprehensive score, from which the overall ranking is created.

To achieve its mission of "delivering happy moments to everyone and creating value," the Company has positioned proactive initiatives for diversity and gender equality as one of its key management issues, and as part of this, it is focusing on promoting women's empowerment.

In March 2025, the Company achieved its target of a 10% female manager ratio by the end of 2025 ahead of schedule. Furthermore, in October 2025, as support for balancing childcare and career development, it expanded measures targeting female employees who returned early from childcare leave, thereby advancing various initiatives for women's empowerment.

Moving forward, we will continue to respect the individuality of each employee regardless of gender, actively incorporate diverse values and ideas, and aim for sustainable growth by leveraging diversity as a strength, realizing an inclusive environment where all people can maximize their potential regardless of differences.
