Background and Significance Since its opening in April 2020, the Okinawa base has played an important role in supporting the foundation of "PickGo," one of the largest delivery platforms in Japan. We have been actively recruiting excellent human resources, including local residents and those wishing to relocate (UI-turn). Initially, it was a two-department system consisting of operations and development, but with the relocation of the headquarters to Okinawa in October 2024, we expanded job categories to include marketing and corporate departments. As a result, the number of employees increased significantly from 21 at the end of 2021 to 91 at the end of 2025. In addition, the retention rate of engineers responsible for service planning, development, and improvement has maintained a high level.
CBcloud's service planning, development, and operation are all handled consistently in Okinawa, and the core of this effort is mostly local residents. We recognize the high potential of Okinawa's human resources and intend to further strengthen recruitment and training in the future. As an Okinawan company, by collaborating with local companies and maximizing the potential of Okinawa's talent, we will prevent the outflow of excellent human resources, serve as a receiver for UI-turns, and provide diverse working options. In addition to further business growth, we aim to contribute to the revitalization and development of the regional economy by working with local companies to solve economic challenges in Okinawa.
Future Initiatives and Outlook - Maximizing Human Potential and Job Creation: We will maximize the high potential of human resources in Okinawa Prefecture, provide various working options such as preventing the outflow of excellent human resources and serving as a receiver for UI-turns.
