Mechanical "EDIFICE" Shows Different Expressions with Shifting Light

Casio Computer Co., Ltd. will launch the mechanical watch "EFK-200" on July 17th, a new product in the "EDIFICE" series of watches with the concept of "Speed and Intelligence." The case is finished with a combination of mirror and hairline polishing, allowing for different expressions depending on the viewing angle.

"EDIFICE" is a brand characterized by its unique style, incorporating dynamic designs and materials with high affinity for automobiles, based on the concept of "Speed and Intelligence." Our first mechanical watch, the "EFK-100" released last year, was so popular that it sold out globally.

The "EFK-200" announced this time is a mechanical watch with a design that achieves a beautiful, high-quality finish through the combination of a curved case shape and mirror and hairline polishing.

The rounded case is combined with a cushion-shaped bezel with cut corners, and a gentle curve is added to the sides, creating an elegant and sophisticated look with beautiful surface composition. It creates a flowing form reminiscent of a luxury car. Furthermore, by using both hairline and mirror finishes, the reflection of light is enhanced, allowing for various expressions depending on the viewing angle.

For the dial, the "EFK-200XPB/EFK-200CD"* uses forged carbon, which is also used in high-performance sports cars, creating a design that highlights the unique marble pattern of the material. On the other hand, the "EFK-200D/EFK-200DG" features a gradient dial with beautiful color changes. By combining three-dimensional expression through electroforming with clear coating, a delicate and deep luster is achieved, along with vibrant colors that stand out.

The internal mechanism uses a Japanese-made mechanical movement. The see-through case back allows for visual enjoyment of the beautifully arranged and precise movement of the mechanical watch.
