(CARRO), has partnered with BLAZE Inc. (hereinafter "BLAZE"), a group company of MTG Co., Ltd., to launch the "Connected EV Bike" service on April 1, 2026. This service equips BLAZE's flagship product, the three-wheeled, roofed electric delivery bike "EV DELIVERY," with a retrofit connected solution developed and operated by CARRO JAPAN.

This initiative provides an environment where even a single "Connected EV Bike" can be introduced affordably and easily, with simple status management. Adopting companies can grasp vehicle operational status and location information in real-time, leading to improved business efficiency and optimized operational costs.

【Background】

In industries that own and operate a large number of motorcycles, such as logistics and food delivery, there is a strong demand for electrification amidst the trend of discontinuing the manufacturing of internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles and the move towards a decarbonized society. However, the following challenges have existed:

・Few systems are available for centrally managing the status of electric bikes (e.g., operational status, location information).
・Different management systems are required for each manufacturer, making it difficult to manage vehicles from multiple manufacturers comprehensively.
・Fleet management systems designed for cars are inadequate for motorcycles, leading to fragmented vehicle management.
・Vehicle management often requires expensive, dedicated systems and large-scale implementation, making it difficult to start with a small number of units.

As a result, the introduction and efficient operational management of electric bikes have become a major challenge for many businesses.

Overview of the "Connected EV Bike"
The "Connected EV Bike" service installs CARRO JAPAN's manufacturer-independent, retrofit connected solution, which can also manage car information, onto the "EV DELIVERY" developed and provided by BLAZE. This enables centralized management of both cars and motorcycles on the same platform.
