Carat Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kashihara City, Nara Prefecture; President & CEO: Takayuki Okuno), which operates photo studios nationwide, will hold an experiential event titled "Carat Nishiarai Festival" on July 13, 2026 (Mon) to commemorate the renovation of Studio Carat Ario Nishiarai.

Transforming from a place to take photos into a space where families create lasting memories, this event embodies the studio’s new concept: "Welcome to a photo theme park where your family takes center stage and has fun while shooting!" In collaboration with amusement facility "GiGO," the event will feature a giant gashapon (capsule toy) machine standing approximately 2 meters tall with capsules about 20cm in diameter, alongside 3D photo experiences, custom license cards, and other photo studio activities enjoyable for the whole family.

To celebrate the renovation of Studio Carat Ario Nishiarai, the "Carat Nishiarai Festival" will be held. This festival will feature numerous first-time initiatives for Studio Carat, including the giant gashapon machine, 3D family photo experiences, and Princess & Prince model experiences.

A one-hour priority entry window from 10:00 to 11:00 is available exclusively for customers who have previously used any Studio Carat location.

Due to expected high attendance, priority entry is limited to a maximum of 140 groups. To ensure a more comfortable experience, we recommend early registration for those wishing to participate.

The festival’s main attraction is the giant gashapon machine, made possible through collaboration with amusement facility "GiGO." Standing at approximately 2 meters tall—taller than an average adult—the machine allows visitors to turn a large handle and receive giant capsules approximately 20cm in diameter.

The gashapon capsules contain a lottery-style draw offering different photo shoot plans based on prize tiers, providing diverse photo experiences unique to a photo studio (※1).

About the Giant Gashapon Machine

This initiative was realized through collaboration with GENDA GiGO Entertainment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "GiGO"), operator of the amusement facility "GiGO." Both our company and GiGO are group companies under GENDA Co., Ltd. By combining Studio Carat’s expertise in "creating family memories" with GiGO’s experience in delivering "exciting play experiences," we’ve created a unique fusion of photo studio and amusement facility know-how.

Moving forward, we will strengthen collaboration with other GENDA group companies, starting with this initiative, to create new experiential value beyond the traditional photo studio.
