Studio Coffret Natori Studio to Open on May 22, 2026 as Its Second Location in Miyagi Prefecture

Caratt Inc. (head office: Kashiba, Nara Prefecture; President and Representative Director: Takayuki Okuno) announced that it will open Natori Studio on Friday, May 22, 2026, as the 52nd location of its private photo studio brand Studio Coffret and its second studio in Miyagi Prefecture. The new studio embodies the company’s emerging market concept of an “atelier chain,” offering a concrete example of a new studio model that combines a distinctive worldview with chain-store expansion. Studio Coffret was created around the idea of “Slow Photo,” based on the desire to let families preserve the story of their children’s growth in a special, relaxing space. Since the brand launched in 2012, its professionally designed interiors, original Coffret outfits, and high-quality photography in private studio spaces have continued to attract stylish mothers and families. The new Natori Studio is located in Natori, Miyagi Prefecture. Natori sits just south of Sendai and offers excellent access, about 15 minutes by train to Sendai Station. The city is home to commercial facilities such as Aeon Mall Natori and Sendai Airport, while also offering strong child-rearing support. It ranked first for the second consecutive year in the 2025 livability ranking for Hokkaido and Tohoku, making it a popular area for families thanks to its balance of transport convenience and calm residential environment. Natori Studio is about a five-minute walk from Mitazono Station on the Sendai Airport Transit Line. Families with small children can also travel easily by car, as parking is available at Orfika Mitazono. The studio concept is “chemi (chemin) - road, journey.” It represents the path a family has walked so far and the continuing journey ahead. The studio is designed to gently preserve each family’s story. Inside are three sets with carefully selected colors and textures, creating a space that naturally invites visitors to walk further in while capturing children’s growth and family warmth. Each Studio Coffret location is built around a different concept, based on the brand’s unified “One Tone Photo” visual style. Another major feature of Coffret is its carefully curated selection of Japanese and Western outfits and original items available for rental. The lineup includes antiques and branded pieces sourced in Japan and overseas, along with Coffret’s own original costumes. From baby outfits and birthday dresses to original Japanese and Western outfits and setups for boys and girls, the studio creates images unique to Coffret’s worldview. Guests may also bring favorite clothing, toys, or other personal items for the shoot. Because the studio can be used as a private space for one family during the session, both children and parents can relax. This makes it suitable for maternity photography as well as sessions during periods when children may be shy around strangers or unfamiliar places. To celebrate the opening, Natori Studio will offer six special opening package plans with benefits, suitable for birthdays, Shichi-Go-San, shrine visits, entrance and graduation commemorations, and other occasions. The shooting period runs from Wednesday, April 29 to Sunday, August 2, 2026. Plans include a weekday-only Opening Light Data Plan from 22,450 yen, a weekday-only Opening Light Album Plan from 29,800 yen, and several packages including 75 to 90 data images, slideshow movies, frames, albums, outfits, dressing, and hair arrangement services, with the highest package being the Opening Sibling Plan at 80,200 yen. A free reception party will be held from 10:00 to 17:00 on Thursday, May 21, 2026, the day before the opening.
