'Street Fighter 6' Announces First Year 4 Character 'Yasmin' Releasing August 3rd, Debuts Gameplay Trailer

A gameplay trailer has been released for 'Yasmin', confirmed to join 'Street Fighter 6' on Monday, August 3rd, as the first additional character of Year 4. Another completely new character, 'Arjun', along with the iconic 'Tifa' from the 'Final Fantasy VII Remake series', and the familiar 'Bosh' from World Tour are also scheduled for release.

Yasmin, from the Philippines, is a fighter who uses her country's traditional martial art, 'Eskrima'. Her speedy battle style involves overwhelming opponents with agile movements and slashes from her karambit knives.

Yasmin learned to fight from her grandfather (Lolo) alongside her older brother (Kuya). Though she initially began training just to spend time with her brother, he one day vanished. Losing her reason to fight, Yasmin spent her days watching videos on 'FooTube', but a video of a certain French supermodel rekindled her lost passion, and she resolved to step back into the world to forge her own path to her brother.

### Key Special Moves

- **Daloy ng Tubig**: A multi-hit attack while advancing. It's an effective combo starter that can transition into 'Alon'. The OD version allows Yasmin to maintain 'Bayani Mode' on hit. - **Alon**: A follow-up from 'Daloy ng Tubig'. On hit, it activates 'Bayani Mode', causing her knife to glow blue and altering the finisher. - **Talim ng Hangin**: A surprise attack where she spins forward, slashing. Hitting with this move also transitions her into 'Bayani Mode'. - **Muka ng Langit**: A forward-leaping move with two possible follow-ups: 'Kuko' (a diving kick) and 'Ulan' (a spinning attack). - **Lipa ng Agila**: An upward kick that serves as an anti-air and combo ender. The OD version has invincibility on startup. - **Pangil sa Likuran**: A boomerang-like projectile.

- **Level 1 SA: Hiwa ng Karahitan**: A command grab that slams the opponent to the ground. It has invincibility on startup and transitions to 'Bayani Mode' on hit. - **Level 2 SA: Nakatagong Lakas**: Allows her to maintain an enhanced 'Bayani Mode' for a set time, granting access to the exclusive move 'Linya ng Liwanag'. - **Level 3 SA: Pamumukadkad ng Sampaguita**: A cinematic super that serves as a powerful combo ender or reversal.

Yasmin's 'Outfit 2', a school uniform, can be unlocked in-game or purchased with Fighter Coins. A major battle balance adjustment for Year 4 will be implemented concurrently with Yasmin's release.

Various Year 4 DLC passes are on sale now, granting owners access to Yasmin on August 3rd. Furthermore, an early hands-on demo will be available at 'Evo Las Vegas' from June 26th to 28th.
