Street Fighter 6 Surpasses 7 Million Units Sold Worldwide!

Capcom Co., Ltd. announced that the global sales of 'Street Fighter 6', released in 2023, have surpassed 7 million units.

'Street Fighter 6' is a new-generation fighting game released approximately seven years after its predecessor. It has been enjoyed by a wide range of users due to initiatives such as the introduction of 'Modern' controls, which do not require complex command inputs, and enhanced accessibility. In addition to these efforts, we have been sequentially releasing additional content, such as characters, since launch to ensure continuous enjoyment. As part of this, we have decided to add four new characters for the fourth year.

Furthermore, through initiatives such as the 'Street Fighter' division setting a world record for the highest number of participants at one of the world's largest fighting game tournaments and being recognized by Guinness World Records™, we are working to expand our user base through esports. Additionally, we are scheduled to release the live-action film 'Street Fighter: The Movie' globally on Friday, October 16, 2026, and are working to increase the awareness of our company's IP globally.

Capcom will continue to promote the multifaceted development of its IP, including games, esports, and films, under our 'One Content, Multi-Use' strategy to achieve sustainable growth and enhance corporate value.
