CANTEEN Inc. Selected as Secretariat for Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's FY2025 Supplementary Content Industry Growth Investment Support Project (IP Creation Support)

CANTEEN Inc. (Representative Director: Keiichi Toyama / Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo) has been selected as the secretariat (subsidized entity) for "IP Creation Support" within the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's FY2025 Supplementary Content Industry Growth Investment Support Project (IP360). As the secretariat for "IP Creation Support," CANTEEN Inc. will be responsible for operating the following two support menus.

## Menu 1. IP Creation Support (Startup Support) "Sofu"
This program supports individual creators and startup teams newly engaged in content production and development by providing accompaniment and public relations support for content production and development.

Individual creators or startup teams newly engaged in content production and development

**Maximum Subsidy Amount**
Live-action/Anime, Music: 10 million yen per applicant
Games: 5 million yen per applicant per call for applications

**Subsidy Period**
Until the end of February 2027 at the longest

*For the game field, screening will be conducted in two stages: the first call for applications (up to 5 million yen) and the second call for applications (up to 5 million yen). If adopted for both calls, the maximum subsidy will be 10 million yen. Please note that it is not possible to apply for overlapping eligible expenses in the first and second calls for applications.

Accompaniment support for the game field will be provided by Marvelous Inc. (https://www.marv.jp/), for the live-action/anime field by NOTHING NEW Inc. (https://nothingnew.ltd/), and for the music field by CANTEEN Inc.

## Menu 2. IP Creation Support (New IP Project Support)
This program supports businesses [W1] [Churei 2] that have been engaged in content production and development, and are now undertaking initial-stage content production and development, or new business development through in-house ventures.

Games, Anime, Live-action, Music

**Target Audience**
Businesses (corporations) that have been engaged in content production and development
*Corporate groups are regarded as the same corporation, and the maximum subsidy is set per corporate group.

**Supported Processes**
Games, Anime, Live-action: Pre-production
Music: Overseas music video production, pre-production, production, post-production, and promotion related to overseas live performances

**Subsidy Rate**
1/2

**Maximum Subsidy Amount**
Games, Anime, Live-action: 20 million yen per applicant, Music: 70 million yen per applicant

*Even if applying for multiple fields in games, anime, and live-action, the total maximum is 20 million yen per applicant.

**Subsidy Period**
Until the end of February 2027 at the longest
