The awarded water circulation solution is a self-sustaining, decentralized water infrastructure that combines water circulation technologies, such as purification and reuse of domestic wastewater, with atmospheric water generators that produce safe drinking water from atmospheric moisture. By utilizing solar panels and storage batteries, it can operate independently of infrastructure such as water and sewage systems and commercial power.
This enables daily use in various facilities such as public facilities and offices during normal times, and also provides a mechanism to independently secure water even during water outages caused by disasters.
Against the backdrop of societal challenges such as aging infrastructure and population decline, it aims to improve the overall resilience of society as a sustainable water supply model.
