Canon ITS Expands Cloud-Based Integrated ID Management Service 'ID Entrance' with ID Provisioning Integration for 'Cato SASE Platform'

Canon IT Solutions Inc. The new functionality will be available starting Thursday, June 18, 2026.

In recent years, the widespread adoption of cloud services and remote work has significantly transformed corporate IT environments, accelerating the implementation of SASE (Secure Access Service Edge), which integrates networking and security. As a result, access management centered on user IDs has become increasingly critical. However, in SASE environments, user account management often requires manual operations across different systems, leading to fragmented management and operational complexity. Additional challenges include risks of configuration errors and missed actions due to manual processes, workload associated with updating ID information, and difficulties in tracking operation logs and permission statuses for audit compliance. Furthermore, due to differences in specifications and operational requirements between systems, fully automated integration between ID management and SASE platforms is often difficult, necessitating a controlled mechanism that enables timely synchronization aligned with administrator intent.

The ID provisioning functionality in 'ID Entrance' reduces operational burdens across multiple systems by automatically creating and synchronizing user accounts in connected cloud services based on registered account information. By adding the 'Cato SASE Platform' as a new integration target, organizations can now centrally manage SASE environment accounts through 'ID Entrance,' standardizing operational procedures and eliminating dependency on individual staff members. ## About 'ID Entrance'

'ID Entrance' is a service that centrally manages login credentials such as IDs and passwords used for various cloud services. Through its Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality, users can access multiple applications and services using a single set of credentials. The service provides cloud-based authentication and authorization features, including multi-factor authentication and policy-based access control, and is currently integrated with approximately 300 verified cloud services.

## About 'ID Provisioning'

ID Provisioning reduces the operational burden on administrators managing user accounts. By using this feature, user accounts can be automatically created in connected cloud services based on account information registered in 'ID Entrance.' When a new account is created in 'ID Entrance,' the account information is synchronized with linked cloud services, minimizing the need for administrators to manually recreate accounts. Currently, supported services include 'Microsoft 365' and 'Cato SASE Platform,' with additional cloud services to be added progressively.
