Purpose of Implementation
Shinagawa City has been implementing the Startup Ecosystem Promotion Project since Reiwa 6 (2024) fiscal year, aiming for further revitalization of local industries through the formation of an "ecosystem" where both startups and local industries can grow, as "Shinagawa, a city that supports startups."
This program, the "Gotanda Valley Acceleration Program 2026," will be implemented in "Gotanda Valley," a hub for startups, to support the business growth of startups aiming to revitalize the entire industry within the ward and improve well-being.
Benefits of Participation
- Acquire know-how and build networks through "training and matching events."
- Strengthen your business plan with "mentoring" available anytime during the program.
- Accelerate your business through "provision of benefits" from collaborating partner companies.
*The training and mentoring for this program will be conducted in collaboration with 01Booster Inc.

Monday, May 11, 2026 - Thursday, July 9, 2026
*Inquiries accepted until 17:00 on Wednesday, July 8.
(Implementation Period: September 2026 - March 2027)
Eligible Applicants:
Businesses and sole proprietors who utilize IT in their business to improve well-being and aim for EXIT*2 in the seed/early stage*1.
*1: Startups aiming to provide/launch products/services.
Or, startups that already have a business (products/services) and are in the expansion phase.
*2: Programs targeting startups primarily aiming for IPO or M&A are planned.
Application Requirements:
- Must be a business established approximately within 5 years.
- Principle: Must have a base in Shinagawa City, or have prospects of establishing one in the future.
*New businesses by those with existing businesses, extensions/related field advancements of existing businesses, company splits, business divisions, second startups, business successions, etc., are not eligible.
*Students are also welcome to participate.
Capacity:
20 companies (planned)
*Up to 2 people from one company can participate.
*Participants will be selected after a document review and interview. Please refer to the application guidelines for details on the selection process.
Participation Fee:
Free
*Separate fees will apply for social gatherings with food and drinks held after each training session, etc.
