CAMPFIRE Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shin Nakajima; hereinafter referred to as CAMPFIRE), which operates one of Japan's largest crowdfunding services, will launch comprehensive support measures for the recovery of the Noto Peninsula region in collaboration with C and H LLC (Head Office: Suzu City, Ishikawa Prefecture; Representative Member: Sae Ito; hereinafter referred to as C and H) and Pasona JOB HUB Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Motoyoshi Takagi; hereinafter referred to as Pasona JOB HUB).
◾️ Background and Challenges
The Noto Peninsula region suffered successive devastating damages from the Noto Peninsula Earthquake in January 2024 and record-breaking heavy rains in September of the same year. Since the disaster, CAMPFIRE has established a disaster support team and has been continuously exploring possibilities for support through crowdfunding for those affected, including soliciting emergency disaster relief funds and implementing reduction programs for businesses.
While diligent recovery and reconstruction activities continue in the disaster-stricken areas, there is a growing need not just for "restoration" to return the region to its former state, but for "creative reconstruction" that redesigns a sustainable society with the region's future in mind. However, local businesses and municipalities alone face limitations in both funding and human resources. To provide effective support tailored to these local challenges and the needs of businesses, CAMPFIRE has established a new base in Noto and developed a localized, sustainable reconstruction model.
In this collaboration, C and H, which is responsible for business creation with local and external companies, Pasona JOB HUB, which specializes in matching professional human resources from urban areas, and CAMPFIRE, which handles fundraising and fan community building, will combine their respective strengths to aim for the creation of a new economic cycle in a region facing the dual difficulties of depopulation and disaster.
Initiative 1: Launch of "Kyoso x OKUNOTO" Website
A participatory platform has been opened for diverse individuals, companies, and organizations interested in creative reconstruction, allowing them to choose how they wish to engage based on their expertise, lifestyle, etc. By offering a variety of options, including matching for pro bono work and side jobs, human resource training programs for companies, a monthly co-creation community, and financial support through crowdfunding, we encourage continuous participation that leverages individual experience and interests.

Initiative 2: Call for Applicants for "Noto Peninsula Satellite Kitchen"
This initiative, operated by C and H, involves developing and operating a trailer house with food service facilities in the Iida-cho shopping district of Suzu City. It enables small-scale business startups by allowing individuals who wish to open restaurants in Noto or those considering pop-up operations in the region and beyond to offer food and beverages on a daily or weekly rotating basis. For stallholders, comprehensive support will be provided for their ventures, including menu development utilizing Noto ingredients in collaboration with local farmers and fishermen, and assistance in creating business plans.
