"Konsai 2026" to be Held at NEWoMan Takanawa: 100 Breweries of Sake, Shochu, Craft Sake, and Craft Gin Gather to Create the Future of "Japanese OSake"

camo Inc., which spreads delicious Japanese sake and its culture worldwide, and Lumine Co., Ltd., which operates NEWoMan Takanawa, together with the Konsai Executive Committee, are proud to announce the holding of "Konsai 2026," an event that will explore new possibilities for "Japanese OSake" culture.

The event will run for five days, from Wednesday, June 10, to Sunday, June 14, 2026. The venue is NEWoMan Takanawa at TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY.

"Konsai" was first held in April 2025, attracting approximately 10,000 visitors over three days. It is an event that proposes new charms and values by "mixing" diverse elements such as food, culture, and art, centered on "Japanese OSake" like sake, shochu, craft sake, and craft gin.

Centered around Konsai Park, where visitors can enjoy sake and food in an open-air setting, the event will also feature diverse content within the NEWoMan Takanawa building. This includes makers' dinners where visitors can enjoy food with brewers, limited-time pairing menus, and workshops for both adults and children, creating new scenes for enjoying "Japanese OSake."

What is Konsai Park? ### Over 100 Breweries and Amazake/Sweets to be Enjoyed Casually in the Open Air - Gathering of "Japanese OSake" Over 100 breweries, from Hokkaido in the north to Kagoshima in the south, will gather daily over five days. Sake, shochu, craft sake, and craft gin—a grand collection of "Japanese OSake." Visitors can interact directly with the producers and enjoy unique alcoholic beverages from various regions of Japan. Beverages encountered at the venue can be purchased by the bottle. Experience the diversity, history, and future of "Japanese OSake," a source of global pride.

- Enjoyment for Both Adults and Children Snacks to enjoy with sake and food trucks specializing in carefully selected ingredients will gather. In addition to enjoying pairings, non-alcoholic amazake arranged drinks and shaved ice will also be available, creating a casual and relaxed space where both drinkers and non-drinkers can enjoy "Japanese OSake." Original Konsai merchandise and sake vessels will also be available for purchase.

A Festival that "Creates the Future by Mixing" While sake and shochu are proud traditional Japanese cultures, in recent years, the domestic market has been shrinking due to the aging of producers and growing health consciousness. On the other hand, "Japanese OSake" has new possibilities expanding, driven by the growing popularity of "SAKE" overseas, increasing domestic interest in craft products, and the growth of the Japanese food market.

"Konsai" was born against this backdrop.

Konsai started in 2025 with the aim of re-editing "Japanese OSake" not merely as a traditional culture but as a contemporary culture, and transmitting it as new value. In 2026, it will be held for the second time with a refreshed appearance.

Creating a New Gateway to "Japanese OSake" from TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY The stage for this event is "TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY," which grand opened on Saturday, March 28, 2026, as an international exchange hub at the core of the broader Shinagawa area.

This is Japan's largest urban development, with a total floor area of approximately 845,000㎡, forming a "Global Gateway" international exchange hub where people from surrounding areas, various parts of Japan, and countries worldwide gather. This is achieved by linking Shinagawa Station, which plays a role in wide-area transportation connectivity, Takanawa Gateway Station, which offers excellent access to urban terminal stations, and Sengakuji Station, which provides superior access to Tokyo's subway network and Haneda Airport.
