This demonstration experiment aims to enable visitors to virtually "try on," not just "see," the historical uniforms held as historical materials by "JAL SKY MUSEUM," a facility where visitors can learn about the work of aviation and the history of JAL. This has been realized through CALM's overall coordination, combining the real-time virtual try-on technology of the BAI Association with the expertise in digital signage of Ultra FreakOut. The lineup of uniforms available for try-on includes not only past cabin attendant uniforms but also the highly popular flight crew uniforms, and for the first time in a try-on experience, mechanic uniforms.
■ Key Features of the Virtual Try-On Experience
The most significant feature of the try-on experience provided in this demonstration experiment is that the wear image is reproduced in real-time from any angle and for any movement, tailored to the person trying it on.
The wrinkles that appear on the clothes when raising arms and the spread of the hem are faithfully reproduced, creating a sense of actually wearing the uniform and providing an immersive try-on experience. Furthermore, try-on photos can have their backgrounds changed to images of the JAL SKY MUSEUM interior or a runway, allowing for enjoyment in various situations.

■ Virtual Try-On Uniform Lineup and Try-On Image
Through this demonstration experiment, we will offer a virtual "try-on experience" in addition to "viewing exhibits." We propose a new way to enjoy aviation history materials and will pursue the potential for application in a wide range of fields through virtual try-on, not just as entertainment. The four companies will continue to combine their respective expertise to contribute to the creation of new value that fuses digital and real, and the realization of a richer society, towards the further social implementation of AI technology.
