[Background of Release]

"Jagarico" was born in 1995 as a long-selling snack product, with the concept of "a snack that high school girls can carry in their bags," offering a delightful texture of "crispy at first, then crunchy later" through its unique manufacturing process. Last year, it celebrated its 30th anniversary.

"Jagarico Gyutan Flavor," which recreates the taste of Tohoku's specialty "Gyutan" (beef tongue), has been popular as a boxed souvenir product since its launch in 2017. In recent years, in addition to souvenir demand, there has been a growing need to "enjoy a small amount for personal consumption" and a desire for a snack that can be easily eaten while traveling on the Shinkansen. Against this backdrop, we have newly adopted a stand pouch format. This product is intended to be enjoyed more casually.
