Cainz Group Holds Joint Welcoming Ceremony for Fiscal Year 2026

CAINZ (CEO: Masayuki Takaya), Hands (President and Representative Director: Satoru Sakurai), and Auto R's (President: Shinsaku Noda) jointly held a welcoming ceremony for the fiscal year 2026 on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

This marks the third consecutive year the Cainz Group has held a joint welcoming ceremony. By connecting two locations online—the Cainz Honjo Waseda Head Office in Saitama Prefecture and the Hands Head Office in Shinjuku, Tokyo—the group came together to welcome 274 new members (243 at Cainz, 29 at Hands, and 2 at Auto R's).

The ceremony began with a congratulatory address from Masayuki Takaya, CEO of Cainz and Chairman of the Board at Hands and Auto R's. He told the new employees, "While the three companies have different origins, we share a common desire to help people make their lives better and more unique through DIY. I hope all of you will have the courage to take a step forward and carve out your own dreams and aspirations with a 'Do It Yourself' spirit. A willingness to try without fear of failure is what will lead to your own significant growth. The Cainz Group offers a wide range of fields to explore, including store operations, product development, logistics, marketing, digital/AI, and even overseas challenges. Please do not be afraid to fail and take on many challenges. We want to build the future together with you. I sincerely look forward to your growth and success as new members of our team." He expressed high hopes for the new employees' contributions.

Afterward, each of the three companies held panel discussions with representative employees and training sessions to deepen understanding of their respective companies and foster camaraderie among the new hires, marking their first step as employees of the Cainz Group.

Following their training, the new employees will be assigned to stores nationwide. They will aim to embody the corporate philosophy and brand concept, providing services to improve the daily lives of customers as they engage in their day-to-day work.

The Cainz Group will continue to create an environment that meets the growth ambitions of all its employees, enabling them to achieve more personalized work styles and fully supporting each individual's challenges and growth.
