CAINZ Corporation (Headquarters: Honjo City, Saitama Prefecture; President & CEO: Masayuki Takeya) announces that it has concluded an "Agreement on Collaboration for Business Contributing to Biodiversity and Nature Positive" (hereinafter referred to as "this Agreement") with Nagoya City, and will commence sales of native species "Nagoya Seedlings" at its five stores within the city.

This Agreement aims to promote businesses that contribute to biodiversity and nature positive by leveraging the respective resources and functions of Nagoya City and CAINZ, thereby improving citizen services, disseminating understanding of biodiversity and nature positive, and realizing a society that coexists with nature. Based on this Agreement, we will work to promote the spread of native species "Nagoya Seedlings," which contribute to biodiversity greening (*), through all five CAINZ stores in Nagoya City, and contribute to fostering understanding of biodiversity.

*Biodiversity Greening: Greening that considers habitats, food sources, and resting places for living creatures. What is Nature Positive? Nature Positive is an international goal that aims to halt and reverse the loss of biodiversity. In October 2023, Nagoya City became the first designated city in Japan to issue a "Nature Positive Declaration" and is promoting various initiatives to spread and foster understanding of native species. Sales of "Nagoya Seedlings" Based on this Agreement, native species "Nagoya Seedlings" (such as Liriope muscari, Gardenia jasminoides, and Pieris japonica) that contribute to biodiversity greening will be sold at all five CAINZ stores in Nagoya City. Dedicated corners will be set up in stores, and efforts will be made to promote and raise awareness through posters and by affixing "Nagoya Seedlings" stickers to the relevant products.

Sales will commence sequentially from Monday, March 30, 2026.
