We are pleased to announce the completion of Phase 2 (May-June) of the Proof of Concept (PoC) for our "Stablecoin Platform." This phase successfully demonstrated the functionality where "enabling automatic settlement on a smartphone app allows stablecoin payments to be automatically executed in the background based on data acquired by IoT devices." This makes the realization of a "M2M economy" possible, where machines exchange money in real-time without human intervention.

📌 What is this PoC all about?

In a nutshell, the theme of this initiative is:

"Realizing a world where all things, such as car and factory sensors, have their own wallets and automatically pay each other."

All of these can be realized by combining the technologies confirmed in this PoC.

📊 From Phase 1 to Phase 2 — What has changed?

In Phase 1, we demonstrated that "stablecoins can be sent by pressing a button from a smartphone app." In Phase 2, we demonstrated that "settlement is automatically triggered by IoT device data without needing to press a button." This is a significant leap.

1 Automatic M2M Settlement — No need to touch your smartphone!

【Demonstration Points】

Simply turn ON "M2M Automatic Settlement: Enable" in the app.

Thereafter, M2M platform data is periodically acquired in the background.

When conditions are met, UserOperation is automatically generated, and settlement is executed on zkSync.

Setting a monthly limit, such as 1,000 yen, prevents overcharging in case of any issues.

Automatic settlement stops when the session key expires → Safe design.

2 Native AA (Account Abstraction) Implementation

While Phase 1 used "pseudo" account abstraction, Phase 2 implemented zkSync's "native AA."

3 Data NFT Purchase → VC Issuance — Attaching a "Certificate of Value" to Data

When you purchase real data collected by IoT devices (such as vehicles), you can obtain that purchased data as an NFT (digital proof of ownership). Furthermore, based on that NFT, a "VC (Verifiable Credential)" is issued. A VC is like an "endorsement" that cryptographically proves the authenticity of the data.

This flow is automatically repeated in the background. Users only need to "enable automatic settlement" initially; no further action is required.

【Important Notes】This platform is currently in the PoC (Proof of Concept) stage and has not yet reached commercialization. Commercial deployment will be considered in stages, taking into account regulatory compliance, progress in collaboration with partner companies, and market conditions.
