Manga Gallery Cafe "CAFE Okaoka" Relocates and Reopens

Okaoka Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Taito-ku, Tokyo / Representative: Britny Hamada) will relocate and reopen "CAFE Okaoka," a gallery cafe where manga artists gather, in Asakusa on April 19, 2026.
This store will be developed as a new cultural hub that fuses manga culture and cafe experience, spread across a three-story space. In addition to manga original art exhibitions and talk events, it will create a place where creators and fans can connect in real life through manga lessons.

■Cafe × Manga Gallery × Lessons. A new "experiential cafe"

"CAFE Okaoka" has evolved beyond a mere restaurant into a place where manga culture can be "experienced and learned."
The cafe plans to regularly host original art exhibitions by manga artists, as well as events and talk shows.
Furthermore, events featuring voice actors and special effects actors are also planned for the future.
Manga artist-led lessons and workshops are also scheduled to be held.
These will offer content enjoyable for both beginners and experienced individuals, providing opportunities to directly experience the "joy of drawing."
We aim to create a dynamic gallery space where new works, learning, and encounters are born with each visit.
Located in Asakusa, an area visited by tourists from both Japan and abroad, it will also serve as a base for disseminating Japanese manga culture to the world.

The core of the food menu will be carefully selected sweets and light meals utilizing Hokkaido ingredients.

・Shokutakumi Naruhana's Karaage (Panee Karaage)
For coffee, beans from ULTRACAFE, which has 40 years of experience in home roasting, are used.
For light meals, Shokutakumi Naruhana's karaage, which won the "Karaage Grand Prix® Gold Award," is adopted.
By using carefully selected ingredients and preparation methods, we provide "freshly made deliciousness."
The product lineup is designed to enhance satisfaction as a cafe while also being visually appealing for social media.

This store has a three-floor structure, allowing for different uses depending on the purpose.
・1st floor: Cafe space
・2nd floor: Gallery/Exhibition space
・3rd floor: Event/Lesson/Private rental space (with terrace)
The design accommodates various events such as manga artist events, talk shows, fan meetings, photo sessions, and manga lessons.

■Future Development

Going forward, we aim to enhance the value of "CAFE Okaoka" as a new cultural hub of "manga x cafe x learning" by expanding collaboration events with manga artists and original art exhibitions, systematizing manga lessons, and strengthening experiential content for international tourists.

■Pre-opening and Reservation Acceptance

The 1st floor will pre-open from April 3, 2026,
and reservation acceptance is scheduled to begin from April 13.
We will cater to a wide range of usage needs, including private rentals, event participation, and lesson participation.
