CAFE24 JAPAN Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Jin Huizi), which operates the EC platform "Cafe24" used by 2 million brands globally, announced that its group company Cafe24 Corp. (Headquarters: Seoul, South Korea; Representative Director: Lee Jae-seok) has signed a business partnership agreement with NE Inc. (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa; Representative Director, President & CEO: Noriyoshi Higo), the provider of the SaaS-based commerce backend system "Next Engine".

Under this partnership, NE Inc. will develop and provide an application that links "Cafe24 PRO," a professional service that comprehensively supports online shop construction and operation provided by Cafe24, with the EC integrated management system "Next Engine." This will make it easier for EC businesses utilizing "Cafe24 PRO" to link with backend operations such as order, inventory, and product information management in "Next Engine," leading to improved efficiency in cross-border EC operations. The linked application is scheduled for a limited release to select customers at the end of July 2026, with a full release planned for August 2026.

Background and Objectives of the Partnership

In Japan's EC market, an increasing number of businesses are considering expanding their sales channels to overseas markets in addition to domestic sales.
