In its startup strategy 'Global Innovation Strategy 2.0 STARTUP & SCALEUP' formulated in November 2025 (Reiwa 7), the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has been promoting support for companies aiming for rapid global growth, with 'Global x Scale-up' as a pillar.

Under this strategy, Tokyo is rolling out the 'SusHi Tech Global' project to intensively support promising startups alongside diverse supporters. It forms a pool of 100 to 150 companies called 'SusHi Tech Global Startups' and provides support tailored to their growth stage.

Furthermore, it selects companies from among the 'SusHi Tech Global Startups' that are currently at the right timing for global expansion, offering a 'Growth Acceleration Program' with hands-on support and funding of up to 200 million yen.

Additionally, companies selected from among the graduates of this program will be offered a 'Global x Scale-up Program' with funding support of up to 1 billion yen.
