Aiming for a 'world where people want to do GX' and promoting an economic circulation utilizing environmental value, Bywill Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Yuichiro Shimomura, hereinafter 'Bywill') has signed a customer introduction agreement with Choshi Shoko Credit Cooperative (Location: Choshi City, Chiba Prefecture, Chairman: Shigeru Okano).

Based on this, we will strengthen our collaboration to promote the creation and distribution of environmental value from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and others in the Toso region of Chiba Prefecture, aiming for the realization of decarbonization, carbon neutrality, and a circular economy.

[Date of Agreement]
Thursday, March 5, 2026

[Background of the Agreement]
To achieve carbon neutrality, 'carbon offsetting'—compensating for unpreventable emissions with carbon credits—is an effective measure. To promote the creation and distribution of J-Credits and other instruments, Bywill consistently supports the creation procedures, advances application costs, and searches for buyers.

Furthermore, by circulating environmental and economic value centered on carbon credits, we aim to return funds and create a cycle that supports further decarbonization efforts by businesses and individuals.

In recent years, efforts toward carbon neutrality have become active, primarily among large listed companies. On the other hand, the current reality for many SMEs is that the importance is either unrecognized, or even if recognized, they do not know where to start.

However, it is a fact that realizing carbon neutrality in Japan will be difficult unless SMEs, which account for 99.7% of Japanese companies, tackle decarbonization.

Therefore, in collaboration with Choshi Shoko Credit Cooperative, which has built close relationships with local SMEs, we have decided to combine their regional network with the various environmental value services provided by Bywill to jointly aim for the realization of carbon neutrality in Chiba's Toso region.
