BYD's First Domestic Satellite Store "BYD AUTO Kurume" to Open July 18, 2026 (Sat)

Mobilities Co., Ltd. (Fukuoka HQ: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Representative Director: Naohiro Takahashi), an authorized dealer of BYD Auto Japan Co., Ltd. (HQ: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, President: Atsuki Tofukuji, hereinafter referred to as BAJ), BYD's Japanese subsidiary, will open an authorized dealer store equipped with a showroom, "BYD AUTO Kurume," on July 18, 2026 (Sat).

This store will be BYD's first domestic satellite store, adopting a compact and approachable store space to allow local customers to experience the BYD brand up close. The store will be equipped with a rapid charger, available not only to BYD vehicle owners but to anyone driving an EV. Customers can also wait in the lounge space while their vehicle charges.

The store design incorporates curved forms, wood-grain materials, and a green wall, aiming to create a comfortable space for local residents.

On July 18 (Sat) and 19 (Sun), the mini EV "BYD RACCO," scheduled for release on July 28 (Tue), will be specially exhibited. Customers can get an early look at this highly anticipated model before its official release.

"BYD AUTO Kurume" to Open in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture

"BYD AUTO Kurume" will open in a highly accessible location, approximately a 15-minute drive from the Kyushu Expressway's "Kurume IC" and "Tosu IC," making it convenient not only for the Chikugo area but also for those coming from the Saga/Tosu direction. It is also located near the "Ninen-bashi" bridge crossing the nearby Chikugo River, with commercial facilities closely integrated into daily life in the surrounding area. Customers can casually experience the latest electric vehicles during their daily shopping or drives.
