Burger King Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazuhiro Nomura) will launch its summer-limited 'BBQ Steak Whopper®', 'Cheese BBQ Steak Whopper®', and 'Double BBQ Steak Whopper®' on Friday, June 19, 2026. These new items feature a flame-grilled 100% beef patty generously topped with brisket steak and finished with a newly developed 'Signature BBQ Spice Sauce' blended with 10 spices.

We are excited to introduce the summer-limited 'BBQ Steak Whopper®', 'Cheese BBQ Steak Whopper®', and 'Double BBQ Steak Whopper®', featuring a flame-grilled 100% beef patty layered with brisket steak and finished with a newly developed 'Signature BBQ Spice Sauce' made with 10 spices.

The American brisket steak used in the 'BBQ Steak Whopper®' is first seared over an open flame to develop a rich crust, then cooked using a combination of vacuum heating and oven roasting to lock in its savory juices. To achieve an authentic American BBQ flavor, we developed a new 'Signature BBQ Spice Sauce' using a rich Worcestershire base enhanced with garlic and onion, and blended with 10 spices including paprika, cumin, cinnamon, and nutmeg. This sauce pairs perfectly with Burger King®'s signature flame-grilled 100% beef patty, delivering a bold and authentic meaty taste.

The 'BBQ Steak Whopper®' combines Burger King®'s flame-grilled 100% beef patty with juicy American brisket steak, layered with fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion, and finished with creamy mayonnaise and the aromatic 'Signature BBQ Spice Sauce'—a hearty burger designed for meat lovers.
