Burger King Japan Celebrates 350-Store Milestone With Five-Day “Whopper Festival” Deal

BK Japan will hold a limited-time “Whopper Festival” from May 18 to May 22, 2026, to celebrate Burger King Japan surpassing 350 domestic stores. As of May 14, 2026, the chain operates 355 locations in Japan, up from 77 stores at the end of May 2019. During the five-day campaign, coupons will be distributed through the official Burger King app from 2 p.m. each day, offering 300 yen off five selected Whopper sets, for discounts of up to 29% from regular prices. Eligible sets include the Whopper Cheese Set, Double Whopper Cheese Set, Smoky BBQ Whopper Set, Teriyaki Whopper Set, and Spicy Whopper Set. Each set includes small French fries and a medium drink. Discounted prices are 740 yen for the Whopper Cheese Set, down from 1,040 yen; 1,140 yen for the Double Whopper Cheese Set, down from 1,440 yen; and 720 yen each for the Smoky BBQ Whopper, Teriyaki Whopper, and Spicy Whopper sets, down from 1,020 yen. The coupons can be used for dine-in and takeout but are not available for delivery. App download and membership registration are required, and each transaction is limited to three sets. Some locations, including Nikke Colton Plaza, Tokyo Racecourse, and Kyoto Racecourse stores, are excluded from the campaign.
