The number of domestic Burger King® stores, which was 77 at the end of May 2019, has increased by 273 stores over about seven years, expanding by approximately 4.5 times to a total of 350 stores (as of Tuesday, April 14, 2026). While we plan to continue actively opening new stores, we are unable to keep up with the overwhelming number of requests we receive from customers nationwide.
Therefore, to deliver the deliciousness of our flame-grilled 100% beef patties to people in areas that do not yet have a store, Burger King® will travel across the country with a food truck. For 2026, we have selected Miyazaki City (Miyazaki), Saga City (Saga), and Yamaguchi City (Yamaguchi) from the areas where Burger King® has not yet landed as the first wave of destinations. Regarding Yamaguchi Prefecture, while the food truck visited Shimonoseki City last year, this will be its first landing in Yamaguchi City.
At the food truck, we will serve two items: Burger King®'s popular product 'Whopper® Cheese' and a limited-sale menu item, 'Spicy BBQ Whopper®'. For the set drink, you can choose between two options: 'Coca-Cola®' and 'Coca-Cola® Zero'.
The 'Whopper® Cheese' is a popular product that allows you to enjoy Burger King®'s classic deliciousness, featuring Burger King®'s proud flame-grilled 100% beef patty layered with rich cheddar cheese, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles for flavor accents, all finished with creamy mayo sauce and ketchup.
The 'Spicy BBQ Whopper®' is an exclusive menu item only available at the food truck.
